Just in case anyone who doesn't know any better is reading this
thread, I'll add that, joking aside, taping any weights to a tonearm
is not a good thing to do. If a record is being played that the
turntable can't track, then it's better to just switch to a better
turntable and cartridge that can track better, rather than risk
ruining records. Of course, when it comes to most CDs, which we know
probably won't last very long anyway, just make digital copies of 'em
and continue to use them as coasters. :-)
