[sdiy] Way OT - Today's listening choice

The recent listening comments have made me get out some older listening
material I have. Tonight, it's "Animals" by Pink Floyd. In fact, "Sheep" is
currently playing. The album "Wish You Were Here" will come next. 

I should play my older material more often. There's a lot of interesting
synth content on these albums.  They are also distinctly different, in a
very good way, from most modern pop music.

I'm doing some work with the computer tonight. I don't normally listen to
music when on the computer, because I don't want some wayward MP3 software
player to lockup whatever I happen to be working on at the moment. However,
I don't have to worry about that this time, because these 2 Pink Floyd
albums happen to be on cassette tape. I'm so interested in computers and
digital audio, that I had forgotten how I used to listen to cassette tapes
for hours on end.

At this rate, I might even dig out the turntable and my vinyl collection.  :)
