[sdiy] Multiplier vs VCA?

IIRC one of the sdiy listmembers websites (Martin?) shows an approach 
for linearizing the CV response of the SSM2018 (single VCA) using a 
CA3046 array (or similar) to generate log CV. This may be applicable to 
the single THAT Corp. chips.
