Actually, the THAT 2080 suffered from severe
typographical distortion - the correct number is
2180.
I'm surprised how few of these devices are used in
DIY synths - they're the VCA of choice in most of the
pro and semi-pro audio industry and have been for
years. Of all the VCAs listed, I'd expect this one to
be the last one standing when all the others have
been discontinued.
