[sdiy] OB-8 transformer secondary current rating

Last night I have (once again) replaced the rectifier for the 5V digital supply
in my OB-8. This time I've put in a B40C4000/7000 - this *must* be big enough!
(Thanks to Rudi Linhard - he came to visit me this week, saw the failure
symptoms
of my OB-8 and convinced me this *must* be the rectifier, against my protests
that
I had just replaced it a year or two ago.)
Next step will be to (finally) replace the transformer with a toriodal model,
to get rid
of the mechanical hum.
I have measured the secondary voltages:
38V CT for the +/-15V supply,
9V for the "big" 5V supply
8V for the "small" 5V supply.
Now I need the current ratings for these windings. I could probably just
estimate this
(measuring the ripple on the electrolytic capacitors, and calculate the
current), but
maybe someone on the list has these data available. (It's not in the service
manual.)
I can still estimate and oversize (lots of space in the OB-8), but it woul dbe
nice
to have the original data.
Thanks in advance,
JH.
