This will be implemented by having your microHAL9000 watch you play through
its video camera eyes.
I'm only half joking. Computing power will (soon?) reach the point where
gestural controllers will become practical, if not downright cheap. The
first versions may require that you stick little dots on your fingernails,
as with the motion capture systems used in creating animated films. (Wherein
the movement of human actors is digitized and transferred to the animation
system so that animated characters have realistic motion.)
