I wonder! Must learn more...

One reason why I posited the question initially is that Clairex are
liquidating most of their "optocoupler" inventory. They are selling
CLM-600 for like $0.32 each or so, with a minimum order of $500. I have
heard of these having been used in audio circuits, but they don't seem
to enjoy as good a reputation as Vactrols, for instance. Wouldn't want
to be stuck with hundreds of "lame duck" opto items!

How do the CLM-600 rate, if anybody has experience with those?

Any more info on those Japanese LDR?
