I am a few miles from my former digs in Queens, in western Connecticut.
Less desperate surroundings, more employment. I was staying at The
Resort, Charlie's house from the Renegade Virus soundsystem. Fun, but
the endless party was often not very productive. Met some wonderful
people (including my wife, who has dragged me to CT), helped through
some outlaw techno festivals in Forest Hill, played out a few
occaisions- when I wasn't feeling to anxious to cope with everything.

Everybody wanted custom audio work done, but it always amounted to to:
1. spinning more hardtek records
or
2. going out for more beer
So now I can get audio work done, but never have time to go back to the
city! More instruments to build!

I like your page of interpretations of the designs of RSF, Buchla, and
various experimental info! 

Do you find there are differences between various kinds of
optoelectronic couplers? ie Vactrol, Clairex, home-made? I made a few
years back, when I had >even less< of a clue as to what I am doing. Fun
circuits one can make, been thinking of trying more opto stuff myself…
