[sdiy] Converting 220 gear to 110

  OK, just looked and the transformer (type KA-221) I rewired to use the 
orange (hot) and brown (neut) primary taps.  IIRC the 220V wiring was 
using the yellow and black primary leads.

  I imagine using a 36V (series), center-tapped transformer with a 120V 
signal primary would also be fine, provided it had the same or better VA 
rating.
