I come up with a lot of dogs, but when something happens across my bench
that's interesting I try to pass it on.
I've done up what I call an event timer that consists of two independent
single level threshold comparators that can, with a switch, be linked
together in a comb so that so the two are forced to extrapolate cascading
manually adjusted threshold levels from a single input. Kind of
interesting.

I don't know if this has ever been done before. I'm a big fan of
comparators for making automated logic decisions and found this stacking
option to be 'way' useful.
