Another source of kits besides Paia is (ahem) Blacet which will fit in
the Paia modular rack.

Larger format kits are available from MOTM. (synthtech.com)

If you can scrape up the $$$$, kits are a *much* faster way to get
going. You pay for ease of construction and great documentation in all
the manuf. above! These are frequently much better designs than the
public schematics on the web, so you can learn a lot from them too.

Not to mention support, of course.
