Thanks, Darren! She does indeed know how much fun I've been having - in
fact, she's recently been tipped off (by my mother) on how to handle the fun
I'm having - my mother used to throw the power breaker on me when enough was
enough with the electric guitar, already =-D.

It's definitely different! It's a great way to get 16 steps with only four
pots, or 8 steps with three pots. You can get up to 64 steps if you use all
of the 4006 outputs, but the two extra bits are a bit 'out of kilter',
timing-wise, with the other four bits - not that it's a bad thing. =-).
Tuning the steps is *definitely* a challenge once you go beyond 16 steps
(using five or six of the bits).
Cheers,
Scott
