I'm trying to work out a level shifting module.Something real simple to break modular levels (+ -5V) down to line levels (between -10db and +4db). I know I can change the level with resistors ( no pots ), what I really need to know is there a table or link somewhere that shows Volts-Db equivalents ? Or possibly a mathmatical equation someone knows off the top of their head.
Second part of module will boost line levels up to modular levels. I'm assuming an op amp circuit will do the trick.
Kind of a sidenote but just as important to me:
I want to integrate my guitar fx pedals with the modular. They're mostly DOD and BOSS stuff. Are there any addition considerations or will line levels be safe.
Thankyou Thankyou,
P.
