Now, go back to October 1, 2003, and look at a thread that Cynthia started named 'Environmental,  Concept, and "Subscription Modules".' Here's a snippet:
    Perhaps a more nurturing application of this is the concept of
    "Green Voltages" With a Module titled MOTHER EARTH that might
    feature rows of output jacks featuring the present rate of
    Global Warming, seismic activity, ocean currents, missing ozone,
    etc...

While her idea wasn't exactly received warmly at the time, I guess that we were overlooking its waveform-generating potential.
