   Well I'll tell you that this threw up a HUGE red flag for me when I 
first saw his post, because it indicated to me a lack of understanding 
on WHY all synthesizers have the waves that they do.   But not even just 
that, but the whole basis of ANY synthesizer is to take sharp waveforms 
and smooth them out.  I mean, it's not called a "filter" for nothing.  :)
