This is called autism, or "the un-dis-tautologized
self-reference of the conscious" (Peter Fuchs), not
knowing where "I" ends and "you" begins, not realizing
that speaking to a person is more than thinking aloud
and different from being alone with one's thoughts,
etc. The predictable insisting on a very few topics,
repeating the same few wordings over and over (please,
no need to reply pointing out slight deviations...),
not recognizing irony, it's obvious to me.

I don't mean to pontificate and psych-babble, nor put
a label on Steve, nor excuse in any way, but maybe
considering this can give a bit of a change of
perspective, if already you can't well ignore him?

And on his part, he isn't a troll who'll wander off to
somewhere else if ignored. His mind will work on this
situation like a wounded hemophile until he gets his
right. Please, unsub him. He'll bleed on in the real
world, not in front of a screen.

I don't know if it's adequate to post this, and
apologize if it's not. I'm diagnosed with Asperger's
myself and have known other "high functioning" autists
and all this sounds so f***ing famliliar, I just wish
I could help a little.

Best comment I've read - "You're a bot, aren't you?"
(Hermann Seib)
