Hi Dave,
 Yea, the VC part would be real useful. I'm thinking about going with the CD4069 VCO and dropping the PWM section to get 2 vco's per chip.
 Thanks to all for the help. Now it's time for some more tonic!!!

hmmm... I think I'd want voltage control even for a drone. It would be
nice if the drone could change pitch with the key changes in your songs...
