Because I am so short on space in the land of frac-rack, I was hoping to
use more "split shaft", dual independent pots. Or whatever you really
call them. You know, two independent pots with two shafts in one. Sort
of like the split level volume/tone pots on the "Jimi Page" Danelectro
guitar; I think I read somewhere they are used on the MS20 filter as well?

The best value for me would be 100K linear + 100K linear, but I guess I
could get a lot of different values to work, even different ones for top
vs. bottom.

Now here's another tricky part: It'd be cool if I could get the "top" knob
on a 1/4" shaft, so I could use my stock of already purchased knobs, which
are:

--Does anyione know where to get these dual independent pots? Cheap?
Surplus? Etc?

--Is the idea of using already purchased 1/4" knobs on top dumb? I mean,
can you find any "doughnut" or "bottom" knobs for sale, that would work
with the 1/2 diameter + 1/4" shafts I've already purchased? Or do you
pretty much have to buy "matched knob sets" in this application?

--Assuming you DO have to buy matched sets, can someone recommend a knob
source for top and bottom knobs as well, again cheap/surplus or etc?

As always thanks for the help, and keep the faith!!!
