Hi everyone, I was wanting to build a peak detector circuit to indicate when a signal goes above 5Vp-p. Just one of those single LED indicator types. Seems to me the simplest thing to do would be to use a comparator which sets off a 555-timer monostable. Are there better ways of doing it or does anyone have a circuit handy for this? Thanks, Dave
