Junk?  Huh?  I don't have any of that, but I do keep some things,
spare parts, electronic components, presently non-functional
equipment, etc.  that might eventually have some needed parts in it,
etc. on hand that might be useful for something at some point, whether
24 hours or 24 years in the future.  Heck, that mostly empty old amp
chasis, bag of slide pots that don't presently fit any of my
equipment, or spare car door, etc. could very well be useful one day.
If a wife starts complaining, all one has to do is respond with: "You
know, I've been thinking about something: which would take longer to
replace, a wife or at least a few decades worth of collected useful,
or possibly useful, parts and equipment?"  Hey, us bachelors are free
to say such things... nyah nyah nyah nyah!  heh heh... :-)
