[sdiy] fatman question

hey guys
beginner here working on a fatman kit
i have run into a problem
getting close to completion and i was about to start point to point wiring of panel controls before making the connections to the circuit board
but  no wire came for this in my kit
i barely had enough wire for the previous wiring areas that did come with the kit

can i use extra hook-up wire i have in my tool box?
