So, thanks to the kind assistance of certain list members, I was all set to 
take the Prophet 5, rev 2 EPROM image updates (allowing cassette 
operations) and burn them into some 2708 blanks, when, much to my chagrin, 
I find that my faithful old PB-10 can't handle the 2708.

So, the situation is:
I have two 2708 chips; two 1K files; no way to combine them (tried cheating 
them in as 2716s -- the machine wasn't fooled).

Is there anyone with a PROM burner capable of reading/writing to the 2708 
who is willing to lend me an assist?
