[sdiy] OT: JX-3P Keyboard Contacts

Hello,
if this is the same grey rubber contact system
as in the D70, there's bad news for you:

It seems to be a faulty system, any of these
keyboards will fail after some time, and replacing
contact sets or cleaning has no long time effects.

I did the replacing/cleaning several times,
with no avail.

It seems to me that dust particles get sucked under
the black contact rubbers inside the grey rubber,
this works like a pump.

So you clean everything, it works, you play
a while, new dust gets sucked in and keys
start to fail again.

Roland officials did not deny that this is happening
(Frankfurt fair).

If somebody would give a final cure for this
(except replacing everything with reed contacts)
I'd love to hear.
