Hello all,

Well, after replacing the caps...i´m glad to say that i switched on and the
distorted hum was gone. With a big thanks to Steve Thomas on this list who
guided me through the process checking everything out and providing me with
measurement points and corresponding voltages AND kept his patience while
answering my sometimes not so clever questions!!!

What a great helpfull No Nonsense list this is!!!And i´ve actually learned
something in the process...
