[sdiy] Real slow LFO ICs?

Talking of 8038's, check out the Midwest Analog site.  Tom Henry has started a series of free
schematics of synth modules - VCO and ADSR so far. Another schematic he has up there is for a linear
VCO based on the 8038.  Perhaps that would be a suitable place to start, for an LFO?  Perhaps you
could also use the 566, though that has square and triangle outputs I'm sure you could do the other
waveshapes with a few extra parts.  Or perhaps some of the EXAR line - 2206, 2207, 2209, etc.
