[sdiy] logic module

Greetings-

I am looking for some recommendations/references for an interesting
logic/control module to build.

I have a fair mix of MOTM and Oakley modules that are now being
controlled by 2xACS TM-116 sequencers. The sequencers are quite nice
and although I've just scraped the surface of their functionality I
know that I'd like to build some sort of device that can do some
counting and/or decision making for me. i.e. a counter + XOR or a
series of primitive counters that will wait until the n gate high
before sending a bang. I know that there is a Serge module that did
some freaky divisions by odd numbers but any other suggestions would be
welcome.

Best,
