Sure. I think in the LDC this is called a 6th order design, which
now seems to more be used to describe Bandpass speakers.

Try modeling the speakers as isobarics. It'll halve your box size at
a loss of some efficiency.

If you arnt already familier with it, Vance Dickason's Loudspeaker
Design Cookbook is a great reference and there are a ton of free and
not so free box modelers out there.

I always liked isobarics for car use because it'd give me a nice low
impedence which the amps liked and cut down on box size so you really
can fit that set of 18's in the back of your car without them being
truly obnoxious. Earned kinda a bad rep however because you do mostly see
them for car use and the *expletive deleted* designers aim for the
MTV 80hz Peak so that HipHop sounds as annoying as possible.

I never won any competitions because I refused to design a system that
didnt sound well, but I got a couple best of show awards because of
flat and clean responce. 138db at 30hz in a '74 VW Beetle :-) Anyone
who asked why I designed like that would get the answer "Bach".

If anyone is really bored, I have a picture of one of my earliest
Music DIY projects :

Yes. Thats a 16ft^3 box. With too much power the speaker would unload
like crazy but as I was 9 at the time, I didnt have too much power :

Yes, an Audiovox 8track car deck modified to give me a line-out to
drive a 12watt Bogen tube amp.
