Doesn't radio shack have those? It may be 600 ohm to 10k ohm.

Thank you so much for the speedy help.  Just a brass piece of metal
connected to the circuit with one wire.  Perfect!

The last question I have about the crackle box is the output.  The schematic
that I have, outputs to an 8 ohm small speaker.  If I wanted to change this
to a line out what would I have to do?  Someone mentioned a 8 ohm to 10 k
ohm transformer.  These seem non existent though.  Anyone know where I can
get this transformer or know of a scheme for making a line out from this 8
ohm output?

S. Thomas did you make any models with a line out?
