i just spent all day, (about 12 hours straight) trying to find out why my circuit wasn't working when it worked just yesterdsay. I tried everything I could think of before rebuilding the section which I thought could be bad. It still didn't work, then I realized that a tiny jumper wire was resting on a resistor lead. It turns out that when I soldered in the resistor it melted a hole in the wire, so small i couldn't tell it was there.... but now I'm so relieved I had to tell someone.

If I hadn't worked this out tonight the chances of finishing this project by the due date would have been very small. so this is mostly OT cause the project is not a synth but a a robot car with gps navigation.
