It's not surprising that they don't know anything about this model, nor
can they support it....but not even having any of the manuals anymore?
That's pretty disappointing.
Here's a workaround, though I bet you don't want to use it:

You may be stuck with drilling out the old connector and installing a
replacement IEC connector in its place. That would suck, but would
probably suck less than visiting every surplus store on the continent.
