[sdiy] Help with iron-on PCB art

There are different grades of copper clad. I had some bad results with
a Radio Shack board that had such a rough pattern on the fiberglass that
the copper was actually a little rippled.

Use the OLDEST, meanest iron you can get. Go to a garage sale and
buy your GRANDMOTHER'S iron.. the one that would BURN the house
down if left unattended.

The modern pussy/polyester ones don't work well... they don't get hot enough and

the energy-star and safety features will work against you... like SHUTTING OFF
if
you leave them horizontal for too long... they assume that NO ONE would want to
iron a shirt for five minutes in a row...

...but WE do  :^P
