Yes your right, I'm sorry I meant the ammount of bit-resolution of coarse,
not bitrate. I accidently took the wrong word..

So I guess with higher precision DAC's you will get more precise CV-outs?
But instead of shifting can't you just cover a key over more bits, wouldn't
that work aswell?, because that would still mean those lower bits (LSB´s)
wouldn't just been "thrown away". Would that work?
