Hi Luciano, if you don't have a lot of synth-building experience, I highly
suggest a commercially availalbe MIDI->CV converter, like something from 
Doepher or Kenton.

I can highly recommend the Kenton Pro Solo:

It has Pitch, Gate, and an AUX that can map to anything, so you can, say,
controll cutoff frequency on your ASM-1 with a mod wheel.

I don't think MIDI->CV DIY projects are particularly exciting.  The Kenton
Pro Solo is under $150.

This will give you more time to build oscillators and filters.. you know,
the fun stuff.
