Hi All,
The Sackbut, and I believe some of LeCane's other equipment, is stored at the National Science
Museum here in Ottawa.
I saw it on display a few years ago - an amazing piece of equipment. He certainly did not worry
about the cosmetics!
For more info:
CD - Hugh Le Caine: Compositions & Demonstrations, 1946-1974
Book - The Sackbut Blues: Hugh Le Caine, pioneer in electronic music, by Gayle Young
Both available from Amazon.ca
I have the book and the vinyl version of the disc - very worthwhile.
Cheers,
Peter
