huh?
If they appear is a virtual COM port, then as long as your windows app lets
you choose which com port to write to, where's the problem?
We used the FTDI chips for WavetermC (www.Waveterm.com) and they were
*REALLY* easy to use, the guy writing the windows app said they were easy to
use. Also dont forget that FTDI can give you a 'project' ID that gives your
project a unique number. also you get drivers for just about every OS ever
made...
