[sdiy] TR909 question

Hi

A friend of min has a TR909 that sometimes works and sometimes not. It
takes several minutes for it to start and sometimes just sits there
rebooting. 
Can this have something to do with te "reset" circuitry that is on the
PSU. There are 3 wires from the PSU to the digital/processor-board,
marked GND,  +5v and  "reset". I measure about 2 volts constantly on the
reset-line.
I have no schematic so a link to one would be great!

Any tips appreciated!
