G and J, thanks for  your replies.

Yeah, the feedback thing into the VC is an old Buchla trick and I have using
that.  While it works well, I was hoping for something with either a greater
effect or an input with more sensitivity so that the net effect was more
'dramatic' (for lack of the correct work which escapes me right now).

For doppler anyway, these curves get quite steep.

So I guess what would be fairly easy to mod into a Blacet in the meanwhile
would be a crossfading pot where the mix between the + and outs could be
dialed up and fed back into the EG VC inputs.   My only concern is the
effect of the VC is also very dependant on the setting of a stages' time
settings, but I'm assuming one could adapt to the conventions of that
arrangement (find out where the rocks where so to speak)

I'll try this tonight and report back.
