I think Tim was referring to power-on and power-off dc thumps. Or the
dc and low frequency content created when you clip a non-symmetric
high frequency wave.
Yeah... it's completely important to guarantee that the power amp
driving the tweeter doesn't do any of that. Good professional amps
are designed with such issues in mind.
Then of course, somebody will get the connections to the active
crossover reversed. :-)
