[sdiy] blue boards exist, now how do i find them?

Hi,

not had chance to follow up all the threads, but I use GRP ( FR4 ) for model making due to it's strength, as well as PCB making. Never tried it on a PCB, but when I want black I just put the finished part in a pan of boiling water and add black clothes dye ( dylon in the UK )  after 20 mins or so the GRP comes out completely black. It's pretty scratch resistant, and only fades in sunlight after many years - but then many pcb's never see the light of day anyway.... :-)

Anyway it's probably worth a try on some scrap pcb, the worst that can happen is the copper falls off. The best that can happen is it works. Who knows we could use coulour coded pcbs from then on...
