[sdiy] reasons for Forum

Paul,

I didn't try to take up the cudgels for a
Yahoo-based thing... my attempt was to show that
some folks take it serious and use it and try to
have it quick and simple (I'm not running a list
there, so I can't tell if it's really free of
hassle and I'm annoyed by thoose ads too!).

If someone (e.g. you) would take the effort and
run such a software - even better!

As I said - I'm happy the way it is like now -
communcationswise.
Archivwise I'm really really greatful what Michael
Buchstaller does for us, but finding information
fast in this vast pool of years of collected mails
can be a bit awkward sometimes.
But maybe it's just me ;-)
I'm very happy that there's an archive anyway.

   Thanks a lot in advance,
      Michael.
