[sdiy] Single-supply operation of a SSM2164 VCA/MLT04 analog multiplier?

Hey,

    I need to use one of the SSM2164 VCA or the MLT04 analog multiplier as a
VCA for my "synthesizer" project. We're restricted to using only a +5V
single-supply, while both of the above require at least +/- 4V for
operation. Do you guys know of any VCAs/multipliers that could operate off
of a single supply, or have any experience with operating either of the two
off a single +5V supply?
