Also, thanks to DED we are able to navigate ourselfs around on this planet,
through the great wonders of GPS and GLONASS. Naturally using precisely the
effect you are refering to. We still however miss the dark lamp application,
so we can point a beam of darkness on any spot being too bright. I know that
many theater lightmen would love to have that in their arsenal.
