Here you sense another channel, and when the signal level of that channel
raises over a certain level, the controlled channel will experienced a reduced
gain until the signal level goes below the threshold. I.e. the signal will
duck when the other signal is there.
This is best understood in a radio-DJ situation, where the DJ's mike channel
will make the music duck when he says something.
Again, not very complex.
