That ain't propper SI style! Also, much more limited precission! :-P
Hz is propper and accepted form for 1/s (which should be written s^-1).
So 440 1/s, 440 s^-1 and 440 Hz are the same and "propper".
Much fun is found when you try to SI-adapt C-code - C is not propperly SI
compatible - it is actually severly broken. C++, Java etc. is also broken in the
same way.

Indeed. Some people still think electronic units are in MIL. Get real, not even
IPC beleives that anymore.
