I found a triangle to sine converter circuit in the CA3080 app notes yesterday that an engineer at work has used with great success. He did mention you've got to be really careful about the input amplitude of the triangle, but it you follow those guidelines you can expect clean sines from sub audio into the mehgahertz range.
