[sdiy] Mag tape splicing tape Q - splicing jigs

I used to have a couple of metal (aluminum?) splicing blocks I bought for 3
or 4 bucks each... sure made the job easier.

I think I got them at the local pro audio shop.  don't know if you'd find
3/8 though...

maybe you could find someone to machine one for you.
