[sdiy] Mystery Caps

I have some parts that were given to me that are a bit of a mystery. At
first I thought they were diodes since they look exactly like small silicon
signal diodes. Upon further inspection I realized that they are capacitors.
I have never seen this type of cap before. Is anybody familiar with these? I
would appreciate it if somebody could give me an idea of the tolerance and
dialctric material. The only markings indicate the capacitance and voltage
which is 50V.

Thanks!

~M
