    I don't think so...I have some KRL 1.87K resistors that I purchased from
TAU about 25 years ago now...just before I purchased a batch from Tel
Labs...they are made differently and would appear to be different
companies..however, if it is like anywhere else, one probably split off from
the other.  20 years ago, we had about 4 or 5 different disk drive head
manufacturers here in Santa Barbara, all of the split off from the same
company...although, they are all gone now...
