[sdiy] searching for a =?ISO-8859-1?B?tQ==?=A726C sub

Does anyone happen to know of a suitable substitute for this long departed
differential tranaistor pair, the µA726C?  A buddy is (trying to) build a
kit and asked for a bit of help locating this or an alternate.

I'm thinking a 3046 might do it, although he'll have to do a spot of work
getting it integrated into the board.
