I think that most people are assuming that the second envelope starts at
minimum and ramps to maximum. What about having a third envelope that is
the inverse of the second envelope? It would start at maximum, and ramp
down to minimum. Of course, all three envelopes would be generated
simultaneously, and all three would be controlled by only two parameters:
attack and decay. It should be pretty easy to generate an inversion of the
second envelope, and I think it might be handy to have.
